1935hrs. Est. 300 - 350 fish on shelf. Males
predominate. (I tried collecting a female and
couldn't find one. Of course, conditions were not
ideal, though.) Most of fish were on bottom.
Although small schools on top: Approx. 5 in a
school - perhaps a total of 50 fish on top.
Feeding in algae - slight schooling noted.
-> Western border of slope - Ab Area I algae
"encoded" away - very sparse. They matter
showing - so much so that no channels could
be seen. Again eating grey matter.
Many adults. A few young + small juvenile,
but majority of fish adults + large juvenile.
Beetle at edge and planaria somewhat active.
Some play activity of fish.
1940hrs. Light rain.
1945hrs. (Between 1935 + 1950hrs, cloud cover darkened -
flashlight now necessary to see fish. Slight Rain
(but only very light and intermittent). Rain makes)
water appear murky.)
