of the egg has apparently fused to the tissues
of the oviduct. The contents of the egg consist
of a hard, partially eroded mass of yolk
material. Microscopic examination shows
a small spot, which apparently is made up
of blood vessels, to be on the yolk mass.
Other than this there is nothing on the
yolk to indicate development of an embryo.
