R.Clapp 1964 Oct. 26 - Erikub Atoll, Marshall Islands Guro Island: One Fairy Tern nest was found 62 inches up in a crotch of Scaevola. The Black-naped Tern seen acted very disturbed by our presence. It and its mate flew about us very much as if it had eggs. The area was one of rocky rubble above the high tide line and looked suitable for this bird, but even with careful inspection by Ken and myself we were unable to locate a nest. Some 10 Hawaiian Noddy nests were seen.
