[Beck leaves Exp'd taking log of "France" with him, Feb. 1928 - Ship picks

go to Rabaul reaching there March 20. No appreciable collecting takes place
in this period. Drowne and Richards leave expedition. Mr. & Mrs. Beck later
went on to Sydney and even later collected in New Guinea.
