The "sing sing" lasted far into the night; Grierson and I were still recording the drum music at one in the morning. On June 30 a hunter brought us the first Zaglossus of the trip. Hoogland came down on July 1 from "Top Camp" to join Grierson and myself in a long picture-taking session.
