It is a marsh area (meadow?) on almost the top of the mount. size is about 100m x 50m. surrounded by pine tree, bamboos & other bushes. There are 9 small ponds (less than 1m²) which are the breeding sites for amjiensis Gu has a paper published on Sichuan J. of Zool. (1999) about the pop. size. which is about 200 breed adults.
