Heping Valley. The collecting site is about 1.3 km upstream off the main road. Elevation estimated at 2000 m. 30°39'N, 102°43'N (From map) A open stream, water runs fast, slope of about 30°, under rocks. Very high pop. density. Almost one animal every 2-3 rock. Collected total 17 specimens in about 10-15 m long stream with width of 2-3 m. In the same habitat, one Rana schmackeri was collected. (JF118)
