D. A. Good 1980 Journal Leonardo Mozotal, Chiapas (I ran into a boy w/2 dogs + several goats) 14 December (cont) Heteromyys. I caught nothing though. Dulee got 2 L. bottlen. while one of the heteromyys escaped but Dulee chased a flying leop and caught it. We then returned to camp at 1330. While Dulee + Ed set out more traps I again went salamander hunting and found nothing. I returned at 1500 and went out to set out another trap line in what we think is heteromyys habitat (closed woods with mossy ground cover). I set my traps along logs mostly and it will be interesting to see what I catch. Back to the car at 1600 and while Dulee + Ed set out the last of the traps (we set out ???? 198), I prepared the hybrid I caught yesterday (see catalogue) as a specimen. Dulee + Ed returned ca. 1730 and we prepared supper. Then field notes.
