Aug. 2 west side Colorado R., 450 ft., 1 mi. N Calif. line, Clark Co., Nev.
Traps on fine sand, in the open & under
Cresote Bushes. I trapped in a large wash as
the only fine sand in the vicinity was
there. I collected
Dipodomys merriami: 13 ♀ 25 ♂ 2?
Perognathus formosus 4 ♀ 7 ♂ 1?
Here I heard also a screech owl with an
exceedingly long trill.
