N. Stone 1941 Itinerary filed 8/10/41 July 9 Old Locus NNE W Ft. Crook, 3400 ft., Shasta Co. Calif. Camped here as a member of party including Walter W. Dalquest, Dr. C. R. Hall, Hubert H. Hall, William J. Hall, Dr. D. H. Johnson, Anatole S. Loukashkin and [illegible]. We left Berkeley about 1:30 P.M., July 8, and the two autos were driven via Vallejo, Fairfield, Williams, Redding, Burney to a point about 2 mi. E of Burney where we slept several hundred ft. S of the Road. We ate supper at Redding. We drove on to Fall River Mills, this morning, where we ate breakfast. We then drove NNE and camped about 50 yds. N of Fall River, 1 mi. NNE W Ft. Crook, 3468', Shasta Co., Calif. Camp was set up by 11 A.M. Old Ft. Crook is now represented by a marker which is 2.5/8 mi. N and 2 3/8 mi. W of the junction of the Pitt and Fall Rivers. July 12 Bell Sprs., 10 mi. E. Fort Bidwell, Washoe Co., Nev. We broke camp yesterday afternoon and reached our present camp about 9:30 P.M. We came via McArthur,
