J. Rodgers - 1939 Itinerary, etc. Aug. 31 Mrs. Vert. Zool., Univ. Calif., Berkeley, Alameda, Cal. Sinnets singing yesterday afternoon. Charles Sibley reports Russet-backed Thrush calling Aug. 29 near Gianini Hall. Junco singing songs of L.S.B. to-day. This was another bright and cool morning; probably more bright than cool as impact with weather past month. I have heard a western flycatcher singing full song about 10:30 am; first time I have heard even notes from them in many days. Also Pliris Titonome and Bulbitts outside of window mmel morning. Also Downy Woodpecker meets Cal Jays several times Sept. 25. Elmer Aldrich saw Golden-crowned Kinglet at his place on Pine River Road, in NE northeaster. Oakland, Sept. 24. Oct. 3. Janet Failla says that, while with Mrs. Kelly last Saturday (Sept. 30), they saw Audubon Warbler, Tennessee Warbler and Ruby-crowned Kinglet in the campna; all in the big Monterey Cypress just south of L.S.B. Oct. 9. Pipits at aquatic park. 2410 Vine St., Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. Oct. 15 About 5:45 a.m. I heard my first Dwry-kernel Thrush for this winter.
