Boulder Creek,
Santa Cruz Co., Calif.
In a walk from the W.S. Rodgers
residence down Boulder Creek
to the San Lorenzo River and back
I added the following birds to the
list.
18. Chipping Sparrow
19. Ash-throated Flycatcher
20. W. Wood Pewee
21. Brush-tit
22. Chestnut-backed Chickadee
23. Black Phoebe
24. Stellar Jay
25. Linnet
26. Green-backed Goldfinch
27. Pileolated Warbler
28. Water Ouzel.
Spiked up three Tritons away
from creek, saw none in creek. Got
a yellow-legged frog in Boulder Creek,
a Hyla in a spring near the barn. Saw
a tree squirrel at the gate to the ranch.
