(pp.95,96) Note The notes up to date were all written on July 1, 1937; however, they are all as accurate as the dates given. They were based on 6 Species Notes that I have taken than the period concerned. July 2, 1937 V.C. Campus, Berkeley, Berk, Calif. Today I saw my first brood 2 young Only. (mail) this season. In an hours walk I saw: 3 pro without young, 1 pr. with 17 young (about 3 days old), 1 her with 5 young (only a few hours old), 2 pro. with 12 & 13 respectively (probably hatched yesterday). Aug. 9, 1937 - see Robin threat date Aug 10-11, 1937 - see Cliff Swallow. Nov. 25, 1937 1639 Grant St., Berkeley, Calif. 4 Western Bluebirds flew by low over the houses up to oilight nearby.
