Fed crumbs to at least two pairs of Brewer Blackbirds that were flying toward probable nesting trees. Also fed Crums to 3 pro Brown Tanagers. June 8-12, 1937. Young Robins Begging food from parents is a common sight on the lawns or in the Trees around the campus. June 10-15. Young Brewer Blackbirds Begging food from young parents is a common sight On the campus at this time. Blackbirds are becoming more common on the campus. 6 to 8 at once is not uncommon June 26, 1937. V.C. Campus, Berkeley, Calif. Brewer Blackbirds are more common on the campus now. As many as 30 or 40 foraging on the lawns & dry grass areas. June 27, 1937. V.C. Campus, Berkeley, Calif. During the last three days I have seen young Russet-thrashers begging for food & bay fed. These are all I think I have seen this summer. June 26, 1937.
