4:45 P.M. Snow reaches the road
only on the N. face, sloped the 5 min.
just N. 9 thousand topped foothill on the 5 min.,
the canyon extending down the
bottoms, the cany gully a maximum
1130 yards. As I came up to
gruel from the CCC camp along the
road birds were not abundant.
Only 2 Redtails over war, flock
of Robin overhead & a flock of
Warblers,

The above was taken in 15 minutes
while walking 150 yards along road.
There was definitely a concentration
of birds along behind the snow
but it was not marked enough
to let what it might well have
been accounted for by time year
ago since I have no other records
from this region. I feel that the
