as the road goes, thru the bottom of
the canyon and back in a general
westerly direction on the N. facing
slope) of the canyon; when the road
goes around to head of a side
gulch) of the canyon - directly S.S.W. of
the CCC camp - we started up a
trail in a S.S.E. direction, doubled
back (S.W.) to the top of the ridge;
followed the ridge down to the
head of Panoramic Way; then
we followed a trail directly
toward the bottom of the canyon
for 50 or 75 yards and diagonally
down the hillside - directly toward
the Stadium to the Canyon Road
about 75 yards from the University
Boundary; from here we cut down
through the brush to the bridge on
Strawberry Creek directly behind
