March 7, 1936 record] the bird for the day; Allen Runningbirds would come buzzing by every one in a while and Bushtits, except for one flock of about 6 individuals, were only seen alone in pairs. Our most interesting observation in the bottom of the canyon was made solely by the fact that an observation was being guided by an authority on the bird, Dr. Cribson. This was [the] Whentit, a pair that were somewhat bothered by our presence.
