there we circled around the west
end of the ridge forming the n. rim
of Strawberry Canyon to the beg

In the canyon we found that
the Lutescent Marble has arrived
and adds greatly to the bird
chorus of the canyon. Many
Ruby-crowned Kinglets were
singing; Spotted Towhees were
singing; the church shuck &
