Buildings. rooftops On this day we saw Bufflehead, Ruddy Ducks that remained; most of its time out on the open water; diving for their food. The Canvas-backs, Redheads and Lesser Scaup ducks really belong to this group but were easily enticed in close to shoal by food—however, they did remain in deep water and did dive for their food. The Mallard, Baldpate, American Pintail and Greenwinged Teal belong to the shallow water habitat and either fed from the surface of the water or dabbled. The Coots did most of their
