February 1, 1936 14 B. Sparrow Hawk that posed forms the week before was missing this week. I failed to see Dwarf Hermit Thrush and Varied Thrush feeding on Toyos Berries this week noticed that the bush had been completely stripped of its berries. The Brook-tits were very active both trips. The highest point this trip cannot be compared to anything in previous trip. It was our stop at a point opposite the V.C. Poultney farm where observations of birds were excellent and varied as shown by notes on Long Sparrow (Habitat etc.), Willow Downy Woodpecker and Pine Siskin. My only lament is the fact that my time was cut too short to do justice to the opportunity. Visit in next 2 or stops.
