General Comment
Weather - Sky completely overcast,
slight rain throughout morning. No
showers. Cool but not uncomfortably so.
The ground, naturally was left quite
wet.
The party, composed of 8 or 10 students
led by Dr. Linndale started the trip at
8:00. I met them at 9:30 on the
Strawberry Canyon Road opposite the north-
west entrance to the University of California
Stadium. Our trip took us up the
Canyon to the U.C. Poultry Farm and
back on the road that passes the
south side of the swimming pool (along
the south side of the canyon) and out
at the south end of the Stadium.
In general it was a very good day
for birding. The overcast sky-
