Sept. 27, 1938 To see what was in it, but found nothing; I suspect that the embryo lizard slipped out and was lost. One other5 that I opened, them1 had a large embryo or it; probably nearly ready to hatch. The eggs (11 of them) were sent in by Mr. J. D. Brydon of the Botanical Gardens. I measured the length and the greatest width of the eggs and then opened one. Measurements follow: 18.2 x 12.1 mm. 18.1 x 12.0 mm. 17.8 x 11.9 mm. 17.9 x 12.5 mm. 17.8 x 12.5 mm. 17.8 x 11.9 mm. 18.6 x 12.1 mm. 18.8 x 12.4 mm. 18.7 x 12.2 mm. 18.9 x 12.2 mm. 19.0 x 11.5 mm.
