This and one specimen of Eumeces s. skiltonianus were sent with 15 mammals and one bird. I returned the Eumeces to-day, and kept this lizard in accordance with Jellison's suggestion in his letter of Sept. 2, 1938. Sept. 27, 1938 Acc. no. 5635 Botanical Gardens, U.C., Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. Sept. 27, 1938 1450 Sceloporus o. accidentalis. These eggs were found in one cluster, 1 ft. underground in the gardens. The man who found them did not notice any hole from the surface to the eggs. There were 12 eggs in the clutch. The finder broke one
