E. Hare, of 2611 Ellsworth St., Berkeley. Hare is a student in the entomology dept. here. Laurellee Grade, 4 mi. N. Carmel R., (10 mi., airline, E. of Carmel), Monterey Co., Calif. May 14, 1938 1015 Lampropeltis getulus boylii Muse. Vert. Zool. Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. May 18, 1938 Acc. no. 5493 1016 38 reptiles and amphibians collected and donated to the museum by N. S. Fitch. Some of the Eumeces were kept alive for one to six weeks; one was killed to-day. (see species notes, this slate) 1017 several Eumeces of the batch included under 1016. These are being kept alive. (see specimen notes) Acc. no. 5506 1018 specimens sent in by Henry Fitch (all Eumeces). Two of them were killed on the day they arrived, the other one still being kept alive. See p.73.
