actively feeding from small shrubs, flycatcher fashion,
1800 hr. (sun down) Mate (?) present. Slight develop-
ment of fat.

# 656 rusty buff with black irregular spots
dorsally, sides, venter and upper surfaces
& feet salt and pepper with white predominating
on venter. Iris red gold, pupil horizontally
elliptical.
# 657 suggestion of gold as suffusion in
ventral area & backs and tail, being
replaced on sides by violet or pale blue
& irregular dark spots on back,
and stronger suffusion of discernible dots.
Venter salt and pepper. Jugal less dark.
Iris bright gold changing to brown near pupil.
Pupil small and elliptical horizontally,
young. Salt and
pepper below. Dor-
sal yellowish,
olive, or olive
but always with
gold or silvery
cast. Tails lighter
tending toward yellow.
