Crocodrilus - "lagarto" Ctenosaura - "Iguana" ("verde" and "negra") Agkistrodon - "Cantil" Bothrops - "Navyaca saltadora" Crotalus durissimus - "Cascabel Tropical" Boa constrictor - "Boa" Constrictor constrictor - "Mazacuata" In afternoon drove on to point 6 mi. SE San Cristobal, 7300 ft. where camp set up just before darks. Camp in open pine forest with adjacent meadow. Road beyond Tuxtla very poor dirt currently under construction. 26 Mar. Mexico: Chiapas; 6 mi. SE San Cristobal, 7300 ft. This is first day in first permanent camp. Camp being established until about 0900 in morning after which time I worked open woods of pine and broadleaf, to E of camp. From 0900 until 1200 was able to get no birds.
