8Dec. Calif.: Santa Clara. Arrived in Los Gatos
1100 hrs. Went to "Vandenberg Place" to
check report of Gorman (M.V.Z. student) that
T. granulosus were in breeding condition in
pool on that property. Also because of
heavy rains 7Dec. hoped to get good series
of granulosus from vicinity Saratoga-type
locality of T. granulosus turtitii. Animals at
"Vandenberg Place" proved to be T. torosus.
Several adults amplying. Also there
took Anedeis flavipunctatus.

Later, in afternoon collected at several points
along Campbell Cr (State Hwy 9) above
Saratoga. Very poor success. Took 2
Ensatria, several Batrachoseps one
Anedeis flavipunctatus. In late afternoon
drove to Stevens Creek. Here at dusk several
