On inquiry about other water in and about Fry learned that another pond on grounds of Fort Huachuca. After inquiring at gate and request being announced to post commandant (?) (post under authority War Assets Administration) he insisted we visit him. Late in evening Ralph P. Merritt, in charge directed us to pool in hdqtrs area. Took huge B. woodhousii and several large B. pipiens plus moles of pipiens chowing.
