W. Riena Journal 20 July Mogaleto to Santa Rita Experimental Range, Pima Co., Arizona former students in herpetology located exact spot where he had seen Bipes under rock in rainy weather. We looked for 3 man hours immediately after heavy rain but found nothing. For map as to locality see R. Stellwits notes. In late afternoon drove to Florida Station, Santa Rita Exper. Range farther to N in Santa Rita Mts. Here put up for night in cabin furnished by Matt Culley, in charge. 21 July Hdgto Santa Rita Experimental Range, Pima Co., Arizona. Most of morning spent writing notes, though one hour (1100-1200) spent collecting in vicinity of Station. Single Urosaurus and several Hyla arenicolor taken. After noon drove by way of Box Canyon rd. across Santa Ritas to State Hwy 83 hence to State Hwy 82 and Hwy 92. In vicinity Fry picked up DOP Pithepholis caterifer and Thamnophis marianus. Latter stimulated examination of a nearby pond. At pond took series of marianus mostly young and
