and myself and wife drove
to Marin Co. via Richmond
ferry with purpose I dissect-
ing burrow system I mountain
beaver, Aplodontia, to see if
any amphids could be discover
ed. Permission to dig in
area where beavers known
to occur could not be obtained
in time available. It is hoped
permission can be obtained for
some future date. The locality
is W of Davenport. On
return trip stop made in
Samuel P. Taylor State Park
where I Eusatina xanthoptica-
oregonensis intergrade was
taken in a Neotoma lodge
and I Triturus granulosus
taken under bark of log
at stream's edge.
