D. Riener 1948 Journal Camp Curry, Yosemite Nat'l Park, Mariposa Co., Calif. 6 July from Mary V. Hood — President R.A. Audubon Society. 9 July left Yosemite and returned to Berkeley via State Hwy 120. Picked up on road were 1 Charina bottae 1 Coluber lateralis, 1 Barn Owl, all DOR's. State Hwy 33, Central Valley, Calif. 19 July Wife and I began vacation trip to Southern Calif. Incidental objectives: 1) Collection of Cremido- phorus for water absorption experiments, 2) Search for Hydro- manates on top of San Gorgonio, 3) Determination of night road collecting possibilities on State Hwy 33. Left Oakland 1230 in own car. Drove with intermittent stops until just before noon following day. Route followed: U.S. 50, State Hwy 33, U.S. 399 and U.S. 101 to Los Angeles. In afternoon 20 July continued trip
