All three above taken from flocked 4-5 in open,
young pine forest. Not especially wary.
1944 ♂ Ground squirrel 150.2 gm. 235, 60, 40, 24 mm.
Taken on rocks in open, young pine forest.
1945 ♂ Junco testis 7 mm. 21.2 gm iris yellow-
orange. Taken with mate (?) while feeding on
river bank. Also seen in young pine stands.
