and prepared as study skins. Four specimens were
prepared on the 29th. Two men were defrosted and prepared
on Oct 4th. On Oct. 11 three more Macrotus were
prepared and one Myotis velifer. On Oct. 12 three
Myotis velifer and One Tadarida mexicana (all from
same locality) were put up. The nine Macrotus and
three Myotis (no. 89,90,91) died on Sept 12, 1955. All
of the rest of the bats in this group Myotis and
Tadarida Tadarida died on Sept. 13, 1955. On Oct. 14,
5 Tadarida were defrosted and put up as study
skins. On Oct. 17 four Tadarida were defrosted
and prepared as study skins. On Nov., 11, The
last six of the Myotis velifer were prepared
these include No. 129-134. Specimens
103 - 111 were prepared some time in the
letter part of Oct

Ralph Raith has a set of traps out near
Inspiration Point, Contra Costa Co. in order
to live trap quail. A brush rabbit was
taken in a trap and died in its struggles.
The specimen was given to me and prepared

Specimens 113 - 122 were defrosted and
prepared in the latter part of October.
Mr. Bloedel recieved a shipment of lute
bats from arizona. One specimen appears
quite different (in its forearm length) was
