Benson on April 9 was prepared as a specimen May 22 A female quail was found dead on road 1.5 mi St Marys College on road leading to Lafayette May 23 A tricolored blackbird shot May 7, 1955 by W.C. Russell was prepared as a specimen May 28 A deer mouse caught by S.B. Benson on April 9, 1955 in Tilden Park was prepared as a specimen June 9. A dead opposum was found on the road between Life Science Building and the Steam Plant on the U.C. Campus. A study skin was prepared. Animal in good condition except for part skull broken. April 9 A brown towner caught in a snap trap in Tilden Park, Contra Costa County, by Seth B. Benson was prepared as a study skin on June 24. Sex was not determined ? A Tupia trapped alive by R.H.
