on its nest in the tool shed at Sagehen Camp,
Poison was put out for the rat about a month
previously therefore the rat may have been
death for 2 or 3 weeks. It was still in good
condition due to the cold weather
March 21 Two Microtus caught by R.S. Hoffman were
put up as study skins. Caught in Tilden Park, Contra Costa Co.
Phenacomys specimen was put up, data follows,

March 31 Put up specimen of Peromyscus californicus (no. 19) which
was trapped in Tilden Park by Bob Hoffman on
March 19, 1955
April 2 Recorded and catalogued nine skulls which had
been collected at a previous date by me but
had never been written on the records

2 Microtus montanus sierrae skulls collected 6-26-53
2 Peromyscus maniculatus skulls collected 7-1-53, 7-10-53

These 7 skulls collated at Sagehen Creek basin 6400+ ft
Nevada Co. About 3 mi. NW Hobart Mills. The Sorex and
Microtus were trapped by Bob Hoffman. Also
