The fifty traps set out last night at Roft Creek
did not yield a single specimen. Dr. Benson
with the same number of traps caught
one Peromyscus. Had breakfast and left camp

Aberdeen and past Raymond, 42 miles
(South)
Beyond Raymond we stopped to look in an
old building for bats. We found one Cynopterus
in the attic. This locality was 1.3 miles
north of the Megler Feny turnoff from
highway 101. Then drove through Chinook,
Stopped and looked at the old Fort Clatsop site.
and to Megler to take the Feny to Astoria
Oregon. After leaving Astoria we drove to the
site of old Fort Clatsop. At 2.6 miles beyond South
DOR.

and 5 mi S Cannon Beach.
This was also 1.5 mi. N of Arch Cape. We
have followed highway 101 along the coast
through Tillamook, Buevr and Neeskowin
and we now camped about 6 mi SE of Neeskowin
in an experimental tree farm. No traps have
been set out at the Cascade Head Tree Farm.
