Valley of Humboldt river, above Lorchetti, Istalia,
in a sandy rape fields. - Tall (6-12') - nearly white-
Stipe clothed with long scales. - Spore abundant, cin-
amon color, borne between the aids of the hemi-
spherical cap-shaped receptacle.

Moist shaded bank of stream in Wright's cabin,
(Mr. Ann't Mrs.) Receptacle cartilaginous, sessile, cir-
cular, nearly flat with slightly raised border, edge
with black hairs. Spores vermilion. 1/4-1/2 in Diam.
Oct. 16 53.- A similar specimen.
Upon the same stream, Aug. 31 1867 - also in
Bourne's Piste Cabin, near Unionville. - Closely resembling
the last, but more concave above and with a
broader border of shorter hairs. Similar spores.

The Big Bend.- Siltary.- Cartilaginous, sessile, deeply
cup-shaped (1/4 in Diam.- 1/2 deep.) with crenate margin,
smooth within, somewhat roughish or fibrous outside-
with a uniform dull yellow or waxy color within.
