319.- Riccia crystallina (9).- Spec. 1-11.- Moist sandy bottom of
Trucker River, below The Big Bend. Also at Clark's
Station in Glendale Pass. Appears about 25th
July - apparently mature Aug. 20th 1867.- Deep
green, becoming sometimes light-purple.
320.- Marchantia polymorpha (9).- Spec. 1-4.- On wet bank
and stones in stream near Unimilla. Oct. 10th-
1867.
Confervoidae.
321.- Chara (9).- Spec. 1-10.- Densely & diffusely branched, 1st
life, in backish ditch of Trucker bottom at Clark's
Station. Thickly built with orange-colored globules.
322.- Conferva (9) (av).- Spec. 1-5.- Trucker River, below The Big
Bend. Attaches to stones & sticks in stream. Bright-
green; abundant.- Aug. 20th 1867.
323.- Conferva (9) (b).- Spec. 1-3.- With the last. More delicate,
& brighter green.- Aug. 20th 1867.
324.- Conferva (9) (pr).- Spec. 1.- Hot Spring of the Hot-Spring Wells. Aug.
11th 1867.- (Trans.)- Fine short growth (1/8") on stones at
bottom of spring (Temp. 160°).- very deep clear green.
