A plant nearly allied to these, with a single erect stem, branched
above, fishlike, enlarged below the joints, leaves radical, pubescent,
to white pubescence; flowers few, a cattail small, was found in the
Lower Trinity Mountains near the foot of Humboldt Lake. - This specimen.
E. lacagnacrae.
