Sept. 10 1873.- Moist ground (alkaline) by horse canon,
Apparently varietatis.- Has a scaly tuber. Pueblo name
"Zoo-Shoo"- "leaf salt corn".- Also found in salt meadow
of the Humble above Ojoma, and in the broken meadow
near Thunder, 3-6' high.

(a.) Calyx lobes for the most part equal to or exceed the corolla.
Corolla deeply cleft, limb purplish with yellow ridges from
base; D clefts. Stamens about equally the tube,

(b.) With the last, very similar. Calyx lobes less than corolla
about equally the mature orange. Corolla limb much
smaller, nearly white. Stamens about equal to corolla.
