Fid. 62) Many branched from the root; spines about equally the corolla + pedicel; seeds smooth or minutely reticulated, marginless; pod erect or reflexed, straight or curved, shrunk or slender; bracts acute, ovate & conspicuous to linear minute; 6-14' high.
