209 Strobil in Herb. Dom much resembles Epipactis in habit, but is an [illegible] the corolla tubular, the lower lip with 3 empytects (nearly ") half as wide as the upper, the calyx equally 4-cleft - the bract with the middle lobe broad & mucous + glandular, equally the calyx + corolla. [illegible] C. [illegible] ? beautiful form, stand erect habit, C. [illegible], in - ror, glabrous - 2nd bract glandulose around the willow subarctic or temperate. Bracts connivent broad - caudine lobe mostly [illegible] calyx deeply lobed & annularly fringed. 8 T.c.d. - C. pallida, Kth var. with unusually narrow bract, leaves entire or toothed, lanceolate or linear. XLVI. [illegible] box, subperennial, calyx cleft below & behind, but the anterior fissure thin deep, lobe bifid, floral leaves somewhat dilated & broad, illantly elsewhere, the leaves with a shallow [illegible] pubescence, caudine lobe within with linear lobe, calyx much expanded + pubescent above, flower yellow in elongated bracts spikes, the lanceolate leaves of the floral leaves equally the calyx - lower lip & calyx short. Approaching C. purpurata & integra, but differing in the calyx being the broad [illegible] 3-4
