with the throat green, rimmed with purple.
Most usually yellow. 1/4-3' high, simple or much branched.

71. Eunomia fremonti, DC. (DC. Prod. X. 374.) Growing pretty in size; only
specimen with a single flower, the length of bracts often exceed that
of the stem, Side later in the season it may be 6' or more in height,
more or less branched, & with numerous flowers; Either deep purple
or yellow, throat usually broad; viscidly puberulent or villous; calyx
tube equally or exceeding the calyx, nament. Probably includes S. Teleni, DC.
