397.- Zauschnonia Californica, Presl. (Fl. 37. I. 48.) rare in Utah, orbite, Denticulate
horns, (1-1½" in length) villous cainment, the petals much deeper colored than the
calyx. The calyx is surrounded by a thickish membrane and is extracted after the calyx, and
the seed capsules are 2 or 3 inches long and are covered with fine hairs.
