13.- Myosurus minimus, d. (Trs. Fl. I. 25. Gr. Gen. I. 25, 5.8.) June 3, 1869. Meadow at mouth of Jordan river, Utah. In fruit. 9 sp. 14.- M. aristatus, Bentt. The ordinary starred specimen, growing under sagebrush, has short, few cored heads. Under varying circumstances, it sends up numerous sub-decumbent scape, with linear many cored head, as in M. minimus. (warp. Ann. I. 7.) a) Apr. 4, 1868.- Sage plain near Carson City, Nev. 20 sp. b) 23, " Bank of "Cris Spring", near Carson City, Nev. 6. c) June 3, 1869. Meadow at mouth of Jordan river, Utah. 4. d) 14, " Sandy shore of Stansbury Island, Salt Lake. 3. 15.- Ranunculus divaricatus, Schrank? The specimens of this species in Herb. Eaton have the segments of the leaves much longer & more delicate than in an authentic specimen from J. C. Baker. It is not easily distinguishable from R. aquatilis, var. trichophyllus, except in their extreme forms, when in the one the leaves are divided, parted mostly by three, segments long filiform - in the other, palmarly parted from a very short pedicle, segments shorter & more rigid.
