265 = A. malacus A. Canadensis Adenopoma - Pleasants Valley, Mar. May 6th - Only in flower - but probably in. A. cypridea, minor - if not done var. tri thoracifera XVIII. Dear A. arachne for which he finds in Rosboidae (A. leucophyllus? of Lepe's collection - 3) - 8y. little, concave, pubescent - stem strict, simple, adaxial; leaves 1-1.5 pairs, narrowly oblong, subequal, glabellis above, pubescent beneath; stipules distinct, acicular; peduncles elongated, with the rather loose 2/3-4' spike 9-12" long; flowers (6) 8 mm. long, white, apendiculate; calyx campanulate, black pubescent, teeth subulate, half as long as the tube; corolla appen- dant, white, always slightly legume about 30mm concave, (1/2") straight, curviflora, midrib exserted 3-4 mm. - the calyx pubescent, with a long curved beak, 2-celled, many-seeded. XIX & minor = Phoco-sh (1) of Patterson's. Two flowering epips in Hockley, among Honeysuckle - It seems to be distinct and well marked by the 2-202d wings, much exceed by the keel, XX 259° is also distinct, marked by entire wings + many-celled many-seeded pod [illegible] Look out for A. flexuosa xiii.
