species is very remarkable & only found. I
believe, by Dr. Bradley, who doubtless has at
least one specimen himself, as Sartwell derives
his from him - (Dewey (in Woods' Bot.) confusing
2 species, that from Georgia being totally
distinct - In his Carol. he formerly
referred Bradley's plant to C. gigantea
side Herb. Terr!

115. The bar. polyotachyga is Sartwell's C. lupulifera
if you think the characters he gives sufficient.

Shear Louisville. Short! also Florida Chapman &
Texas Wright &c. well distinguished from C. lupulifera
by the less tufted, horizontally spreading spermy. & many male spikes.
