1. C. gymnocrates, Wormald. (C. disica 1st Edm. non L.) 2. Booth would prefer this removed to the "Stellulata" to follow C. stellulata, & it may perhaps belong there, of right, but this Debilidion "Blyophyllum," as here constituted, proposes to be merely artificial - (XXX. leaves very broad - longer than the calyx - 673. C. Fraseri.) 11. (C. diddoni, 1st Edm. non Booth !) 12. scarcely to be distinguished from C. intermedia (Yod.) 14. Booth thinks that this species should rather be referred as a bar of the last (C. test.) but I think the perigon is clearly that of C. panimentata - indeed I am convinced of it. 19. Kentucky. Short ! in Herb. Booth thinks this is probably only a bar of C. shipata, but this I doubt. 20. Washington, Mich.- Dr. Cooley - 2 Bois Blanc Island. Detroit River - Dr. P. H. MacLagan. 21. Lexington (Kent.) Short ! Cincinnati Leaf ! both in Herb. Jersey. - Closely spitted heads seem too near M.S., the perigon appear always larger & more tapering. 28. C. tenella, Schlt. non Phrh. C. gracilis 1st Edm. non Phrh. fide Booth ! (by spec. pri.) M.B. Booth has ascertained that C. gracilis of Phrh. is the true C. loliacea div.
