July 15, Left Guate at 12:15 with the Danish people going Ben Ollgard, Susan & John. John & I rode in the back of the pickup truck we had hired. Very cool ride. There was coastal plateaus as we left but the wind came in between. Was able to sleep for 1 hour though. Left part of Rio from Ambatovia, Very scenic although the rocks were rough. In town (Barrio) where we stopped two mashaps were shined my along the street a pete. At 6:30 arrived in Puyo. A very lively town with much activity. Shopped for pete & took with. At an artisant, 4 people plus been for very cheap. Toured to find Mel Echemlock Not no luck. Stayed at Hotel Europa where 3 spiner/ pranths were caged in the restaurant Por birds. July 16. Ate in hotel - went to airport at Sheet and waited from 8:30-2:00 for a flight to Montalvo. plane appeared to be Sierra
