Many flowers with double petals Ovaries on most flowers maturing. Mature seeds found on many plants Stems green, slightly red tinged at ridges. Stems darker green at upper portions where the leaves become reduced and stems rebroad. (Lax) Leaves held very erect - much more than other varieties. Becoming slightly decumbent. Tubers yellow orange - roundish. (= king # 332) This variety, grown in area for only 3-4 years - purchased in Cuzco initially. Beetles observed eating the anthers, and stamen phalos taken. 5570 Ullucus tuberosus Caldas n.v. (= Not lisas) Trailing herb growing over stone fences - not cultivated. Flowers yellow green with red tinges. Stems red. Leaves red tinged. Tubers small round, white -
